Addressing the 31st anniversary celebrations of the High Powered Bagmati Integrated Civilization here today, he said the time has come not only for publicity but also to carry out works in a way that the people can experience it. “We have completed all the projects now. The general public should be informed about it properly and the people should be informed while carrying out the remaining works,” he said. Deputy Prime Minister Singh informed that the temples on the banks of Bagmati River have been reconstructed and renovated. He expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of effective work despite talk of ‘Heritage Walk’ on the banks of Bagmati River, which has many heritages. Deputy Prime Minister Singh stressed the need for immediate management of the corridor and cleaning of the river. He also pledged to carry out the construction of river corridors effectively. “What we do is clean the rivers and remove the foul smell,” he said.
