Talking to RSS, he said that the patients are receiving testing and treatment services for free from health institutions under the Provincial Government. The Ministry of Health and Population has written to line agencies and institutions to ensure free testing to those individuals who cannot pay for health care. However, such a written circulation has created confusion regarding testing and treatment of coronavirus patients in the hospitals and labs. Likewise, the Social Development Ministry of the Province has said that such a decision of the federal government in respect to testing and treatment of coronavirus patients was not brought into implementation. “The federal government could have taken such a decision in the health agencies under its ambit. In the province, all the activities relating to coronavirus testing are carried out as per the rule of the Province,” Minister Subedi said.
