Among them, 16 are being treated Bheri Hospital Nepalgunj and seven are under treatment at Teaching Hospital Kohalpur, District Health Office Banke’s resource person Naresh Shrestha said. According to Shrestha, of the serious cases, one has been kept on ventilator support while 22 are being treated in intensive care units. Altogether, 86 COVID-19 patients are being treated in Banke. Fifty-two are receiving treatment in Bheri Hospital’s isolation and 34 infected are treated at Teaching Hospital Kohalpur’s isolation. Among them, 23 are serious, 41 are in moderate health conditions and 22 are in normal health. One hundred and seventy-seven infected persons are in home isolation in the district. Thirty infected persons have succumbed to the virus so far in the district. Three thousand and forty persons are infected in the district so far and 2,712 have recovered. Two hundred and ninety-eight persons are active infection cases, Shrestha said.
