Kunwar has been accused of faking air tickets for dozens of Nepali people through his travel agency in Portugal. So far, more than 150 victims have registered their complaints against Kunwar at the Honourary Consulate of Nepal in Portugal and the Embassy of Nepal in France, accusing him of faking air tickets and payment receipts. The meeting held on Wednesday said it was misfortune that a person in a position at a social institution committed a fraud. The issue has landed in the Portugal police and the consular office would take initiatives in this regard, said Hamal. Kunwar is at large. Various Nepali organisations in Portugal have protested his illegal act. NRN Portugal, Honourary Consulate of Nepal in Portugal and the Embassy of Nepal in France in separate statements have drawn the attention of the concerned authority to take action against the guilty and give justice to the victims.
