President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to attend the parade. The President is the supreme commander-in-chief of the Nepal Army. On the occasion, the army personnel would present a guard of honour to the President while different units of the NA would open rifle and cannon salvoes in celebration. A military helicopter will shower flowers from above while a military band performs the national anthem. The army personnel would also hold march-past, including the salutation march-past. In view of COVID-19, the all invitees to the parade are asked to compulsorily use face mask.
