गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ 293 new cases recorded Nepal 293 new cases recorded KathmanduPati December 23, 2021 File Photo KATHMANDU – The country has recorded a total of 293 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said. Likewise, 263 individuals got recovered from the virus during the same period. At present, the country has 5,141 reported active cases of the coronavirus infection. With this, the number of recoveries from COVID-19 reached 809,922. The Ministry shared that the recovery rate is 98 per cent. Meanwhile, two persons succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the total COVID-related deaths to 11,581. The fatality rate is 1.4 per cent, the Ministry stated. Likewise, a total of 282,641 persons received COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.
