There is a tradition of the country’s eminent person offering worship at Badimalika and Khaptad during the Gangadashahara religious and cultural fair that is held in Khaptad in the district. The President offered worship today in keeping with the tradition of worshipping the goddess Badimalika prior to the Gangadashahara festival that takes place at Badimalika in the month of Jeth, Chief District Officer, Prakash Chandra Adhikari told . Badimalika is a religious and touristic place in the district. President Bhandari returned to Surkhet after concluding the worship at Badimalika. It is expected that the Head of State’s visit to Badimalika will further help in promotion of tourism area of the region.
