Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Jageshwor Gautam informed that the total number of infected people in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are 440, 29 and 43, respectively. Eight people have died in the last 24 hours in which four females and one male are from Kathmandu, one male from Bhaktapur and one male from Lalitpur. Similarly, the virus was confirmed in 597 people on Monday. There are 483 cases in Kathmandu, 33 in Lalitpur and 81 in Bhaktapur. With this, the total number of coronavirus infected people in Kathmandu Valley has reached 12,238, informed Gautam.
