Three passengers have gone missing in the mishap. Deputy Superintendent Chiranjibi Dahal at the District Police Office, Sindhuli said the jeep (Ba 1 Jha 7467) carrying employees of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) was heading towards Khotang from Kathmandu. It is said four people were on board the jeep and a person managed to come out of the river safely. The condition of the remaining three is unknown, Dahal said. Their identity is not yet ascertained. DSP Dahal said a police team has been sent from the district to carry out a search for the missing persons.
