Acting on a tip off regarding ongoing transaction of banned drugs from pharmacies in Kapan area, a team of the Department in collaboration with the Nepal Police and local people’s representatives on Tuesday carried out monitoring of drug sale. In course of the joint monitoring, the team sealed Life Care Pharma based in Budhanilakantha municipality-10, Adarshanagar for unlawfully selling drugs. Spokesperson of the District Police Range Kathmandu, SP Kumod Dhungel informed that Life Care Pharma was sealed for illegally selling drugs while monitoring four pharmacies operated in Budhanilakantha area. The Department’s team also confiscated different 36 types of drugs from the pharmacy. Spokesperson Dhungel shared that the monitoring team cautioned Okhaldhunga Pharma, Gens Health Care Center and Suryams Pharmacy.
