गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Foreigner held with six kilos gold Nepal Foreigner held with six kilos gold KathmanduPati December 10, 2023 File Photo KATHMANDU – The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Customs Office has arrested a foreign national along with six and half kilogrammes of gold from the airport. A team of the Customs Office and TIA Security Office on Saturday night apprehended an Egyptian national Mohamad Mogamad Lasim along with 6.590 kilogrammes gold brought from Dubai. Chief of the TIA Customs Office, Tokraj Pandey, informed that Lasim who had arrived from Dubai on a Fly Dubai flight was arrested on Saturday night. The Office has also taken under control two other foreigners in connection with this. The details of the arrestees have not been divulged. The Office confiscated the 6.5 kilos gold that Lasim had brought in powdered form.
