गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Crime accused deported from UAE to Nepal Nepal Crime accused deported from UAE to Nepal KathmanduPati December 17, 2023 File Photo KATHMANDU – The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested a man on the run after committing a crime of fraud from the UAE and brought him to Nepal the help of INTERPOL. Spokesperson of CIB and Superintendent of Police Navaraj Adhikari told RSS that Komalraj Upadhyaya of Sarlahi was arrested and brought to Nepal. The court has issued an arrest warrant against him on charges of committing fraud and hence he was arrested in the UAE and brought back to Nepal on Friday for the purpose of taking action in the related case. A red notice was issued by the INTERPOL at the request of the Interpol branch of Nepal Police. A total of 51 people had filed a complaint against Upadhyaya saying that he took money from them for employment in Dubai but failed to do so.
