गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Indian team begins search for missing bus and passengers Nepal Indian team begins search for missing bus and passengers KathmanduPati July 21, 2024 CHITWAN – The team from India that came to assist with the search for two passenger buses and its passengers that were swept away by a landslide on the Naragangadh-Muglin road has started working on the site of the incident. Chief District Officer Indradev Yadav told that a 12-member team of India’s National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been carrying out a search since this morning. It may be noted that two passenger buses were swept from the road into the Trishuli river below at Simaltal of Mugling Narayangadh road on July 12. Out of the 65 people on board the bus, three managed to survive, while 62 people went missing. Till date, the bodies of 25 people have been found in different areas along the river. The condition of 37 passengers and the two buses is still unknown. The team came from India at the request of the government due to the lack of sufficient necessary modern tools required to carry out search in the flooded river.
