The accident occurred this morning at Bhateri along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section. Superintendent of Police of Chitwan, Bheshraj Rijal, said that 24-year-old Mehatab Alam of Utter Pradesh from India and 33-year-old Pramod Patel of the Birgunj Metropolitan City died in the accident. Alam was driving a truck (container) from India. Critically injured in the accident, the two died while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College. Sawan Aahammad, the helper of the Indian truck, is critically injured in the accident and is receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College, police confirmed.
