He is the first Nepali to receive the licence after participating in an international judge refresher course in Thailand in 2008, in Malaysia in 2012, in China in 2012 and 2015 and in Australia in 2019. He also judged the President Cup International Taekwondo Tournament in Australia in 2019. President of the Nepal Taekwondo Association Prakash Shamsher Rana handed the certificate received from the World Taekwondo Association to Lama at an event today.
