गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Bardiya National Park to allow safari expeditions Nepal Bardiya National Park to allow safari expeditions KathmanduPati October 18, 2020 BARDIYA : The Bardiya National Park (BNP), which had remained closed for a long time owing to COVID-19, has allowed safari expeditions by adopting strict measures of health standards. Travelers from within the country and abroad had been banned in the BNP since March 20, citing the coronavirus pandemic. The visitors are, however, permitted for safari expeditions only in the route the BNP administration has determined. Only 60 percent passengers are allowed in the vehicle to be used for safari expeditions, while there will be no more than four in a group to roam in the park on foot, according to assistant conservation officer, Maheshwor Niraula. There are 29 modern hotels and resorts inside BNP. More than 3.50 billion has been invested in modern hotels and resorts.
