MORANG – Police have arrested two cadres of Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’-led outfit group. The District Police Office Morang confirmed that the two cadres of the Nepal Communist Party Biplav Group were apprehended.
Acting on a tip-off, a team headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office Morang, Santosh Kumar Khadka arrested the two while raiding the house of Bijuli Prasad Timsina at Miklajung rural municipality-1 in Morang on Wednesday evening.
The arrestees are Bigyan Rai aka Sanam (18) of Chulachuli Ilam and Kashinath Ghimire aka Prateek (32) of Surunga municipality-2, Saptari. Police shared that the team recovered arms, ammunition, explosives, political documents and logistics.
It has been revealed from the primary investigation and inquiry that Ghimire is a company commissioner of the Biplav-led CPN Eastern Command Mechi-Koshi Bureau Fourth Company and Rai is a general member of the party, Khadka informed.
