Laxmi Bank expands its services with three new branches 


KATHMANDU – Laxmi Bank has expanded its service by opening three new branches today at Tokha, Mulpani and Sundhara (Patan) of Bagmati Pradesh.

The newly opened branches are located in ward no. 8 of Lalitpur Metro, ward no. 7 of Gokarneshwor Municipality and ward no. 3 of Tokha Municipality, and will operate as a full-fledged retail branch.

The Laxmi Bank network now includes 124 branches across 48 districts, 7 extension counters, 5 hospital service counters, 155 ATMs, 2500 remittance agents, and 61 branchless banking agents.

The bank is rapidly expanding to new and underserved markets with the aim of providing quality services to fulfill the growing demand for professional financial services such as innovative saving accounts, Term Deposits, Home and Auto Loans, Small Business Loans, Microfinance, etc.

The bank also actively promotes digital channels such as internet and mobile banking to complement the growing number of branches as a part of the “Bricks and Clicks” strategy. This has allowed their customers to reach them through the channel of their choice: Branches, ATMs, Internet or Mobile Banking.
