The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet. The accident took place when a jeep (Na 4 Cha 5050) heading towards the highway from Chandibhanjyang along Chandibhanjyang rural road section hit an electric pole. Both of them died on the spot in the accident, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. More than 15 people were injured in the same accident and they have been sent to Bharatpur for further treatment, said Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan, Surya Bahadur Thapa. Thapa shared that a team from the Area Police Office, Muglin, has now reached the incident site.
