The hospital operated separate wards for the treatment of the COVID-19 patients as the pandemic patients were found increasing in the area of late. The hospital has established a 15-bed ICU and 30-bed isolation wards. According to deputy director of the hospital Dr Nitesh Kumar Kanodiya, the hospital had run such separate wards for the treatment of the coronavirus infected patients in the past and had removed the wards after the situation had become normal. Meanwhile, a COVID-19 infected patient has died in course of treatment in Nepalgunj based Bheri Hospital this morning. According to COVID-19 focal person Tej Oli, the deceased is identified as a 37-year-old woman of Ghorahai Sub Metropolitan City-11, Dang.
