The Home Minister on Thursday directed the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department and Nepal Army to swiftly rescue foreign nationals being entrapped in different areas due to rain-triggered disaster. “The security agencies have been effortful to carry out search, rescue, recovery and relief operations to save the lives of citizens. We have received information that foreign tourists and visitors have also been stuck in different areas. I request the security agencies to pay special attention to rescue foreign people who are on a Nepal visit”, the Home Minister said. Recently media outlets are abuzz with the news that several mountaineers and tourists visiting different areas have been stranded due to heavy rains.
