गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Shahi elected NC Karnali Province President Politics Shahi elected NC Karnali Province President KathmanduPati December 05, 2021 File Photo KARNALI – Lalit Jung Shahi has been elected the President of the Nepali Congress (NC) Karnali Province Committee by defeating his contender Bhpendra Jung Shahi with a margin of 105 votes. In the voting held Saturday, Lalit Jung got 422 votes while his rival Bhupendra Jung got 317 votes, according to the election committee. Another candidate of the same post, Motiraj Bam, received just seven votes. Of the total 771 votes, 754 voters cast their vote while eight votes were declared invalid. President-elect Lalit Jung was the member of second Constituent Assembly (CA). Member of the election committee Bibash Kumar Basnet said that counting of the votes for other posts is ongoing.
