KMC is operating free ambulance service for the convenience of the citizens as most of the ambulance services remain suspended during the Dasain holidays, the KMC said through a public notice. It has asked people to dial 102 for ambulance service and 1180 for information related to dengue. Similarly, KMC is providing health service for treating the citizens in view of dengue spreading throughout the country, including in Kathmandu, in pandemic proportion. The metropolis will mobilize its volunteers for taking information on dengue and providing free ambulance service to the patients. Moreover, KMC will be deploying 558 volunteers throughout the Dasain period, who will distribute paracetamol tablets and sachets of oral rehydration salt to the denizens.
