KATHMANDU – CPN (UML) central secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi today said the party launched the ‘mission grassroots’ with the aim of bringing good deeds it did when it led the government to people.
The party’s main aim is to achieve the goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’, he said at a press conference organised in Sandikharcha by the Press Chautari Nepal, Argakhanchi chapter. The mission grassroots campaign aimed to make the UML win majority seats in the next elections, he said.
Similarly on the presidential election scheduled for coming March 9, the UML standing committee member and head of the party’s foreign affairs department claimed that party’s presidential candidate Subash Nembang would win the poll as any party’s whip he said does not work in the election.
The country has faced economic crisis due to the recently formed eight-party alliance, he accused.
