He also received prasad on the occasion. Before this, the newly-elected President paid homage at Guheshwari Temple. He is scheduled to visit the BP Museum at Sundarijal after concluding the puja. At the BP Museum, he will garland the statues of Nepal’s first elected Prime Minister and Nepali Congress founding president BP Koirala among other leaders. He will also observe the museum. President-elect Paudel will also go to Swayambhunath for paying homage and performing puja today. Former Speaker Paudel was elected the third President of the country on Thursday defeating his contender Subas Chandra Nembang by more than double votes. The newly-elected President will take oath of office and secrecy on March 13.
