In his address to the convention of Nepal Press Union, Nawarparasi East in Nawalpur today, the leader said, “I was ridiculed at the parliament when I said corruption is not eradicable, thus it should be reduced. But the intention of mine was that our efforts be for its prevention.” On the occasion, the leader highlighted the role of media in promoting social transformations. “Whoever has good understanding of journalism, they have a big role in transforming the society,” he said, urging journalists to do their jobs impartially.
