On the recommendation of Chief Minister Kedar Karki, Province Chief Parashuram Khapung made a change in the responsibilities along with allocation of portfolio to the ministers in accordance with Article 168 (9) of the Constitution of Nepal. As per the allocation of portfolio, Minister Shamsher Rai has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, Minister Ganesh Prasad Uprety the responsibility of the Ministry of Tourism, Forests and Environment and Minister Kamal Prasad Jabegu the responsibility of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development. Chief Minister Karki retains the remaining ministerial portfolios.
