A meeting of central office-bearers of the party presided by party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today took the decision to hold meeting of standing committee and central committee before the statute convention. A standing committee meeting is to take place within mid-January, 2024. Party Secretary Ganesh Shah told that the meeting also formed a seven-member statute draft committee. Party Vice-Chair Pampha Bhusal, General-Secretary Dev Prasad Gurung, Deputy General-Secretaries—Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Barsha Man Pun and Janardan Sharma and Secretaries—Shah and Surendra Karki are in the committee. The committee would prepare a draft of the statute within 15 days. Similarly, the meeting decided to conclude the party transformation campaign on January 1. It had launched the campaign from September 2. The meeting drew the conclusion that the transformation campaign was effective.
