The Election Commission on Tuesday appointed District Judge Keshav Prasad Ghimire as the Chief Returning Officer. Meanwhile, the District Election Office Ilam has shared that the office of the Chief Returning Officer will be established at the Ilam headquarters tomorrow. The final voters list will be published along with the establishment of the office of the Chief Returning Officer. Filing of nomination papers for the election to elect a member to the House of Representative is scheduled to be held on April 6. The final list of candidates will be published on April 9. A total of 20 political parties have been registered at the Election Commission to contest the by-elections.
