KATHMANDU – The Socialist Front is to hold discussions with the intelligentsia and the civil society about the latest political scenario on Saturday.
The 12th central working committee meeting of the Front held at the central office of CPN (Unified Socialist) at Aloknagar today took the decision to this effect.
The Socialist Front is scheduled to hold interaction with journalists on Saturday itself. The Front also decided to forward political dialogue with political parties and leaders of parties in and out of the parliament, said Spokesperson of the Nepal Communist Party, Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma.
He added, “The decision was taken to take extensive political efforts to create environment to protect national sovereignty and republic and take the journey of socialism ahead with determination.”
The meeting also decided to make the protest assembly and mass demonstration fixed for March 28 a success. Stating that discussion was held about country’s political situation, he mentioned the meeting drew conclusion that country’s political situation is becoming more complex due to demonstration of supporters of monarchy.
Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, General-Secretary of Communist Party of Nepal, Netra Bikram Chand, Chairperson of Nepal Socialist Party, Mahindra Raya Yadav, among others were present in the meeting.
