The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday morning at the Prime Minister’s residence Baluwatar decided to recommend ambassadors to South Korea, Sri Lanka and Egypt. According to a cabinet source, the government recommended Dr Krishna Chandra Sharma as ambassador to South Korea, Ramesh Chandra Paudel to Sri Lanka and Nirmal Raj Kafle to Egypt. Each of the appointments will be subject to endorsements from the Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee following a confirmation hearing of each nominee.
