Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Shalik Ram Jamarkattel, Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Arun Prasad Nepal and Minister for Social Development Yubaraj Dulal stepped down as ministers of Bagmati province today. Accusing the government led by Chief Minister Dormani Paudel failed to live up to people’s expectations, they resigned from their posts. The resignation of three ministers of the provincial government in Bagmati comes in the wake of growing political turmoil in the ruling Nepal Communist Party. In their joint resignation letter, they also accused the Chief Minister of moving ahead by ignoring advice of cabinet members and parliamentary party.
