On the occasion, Minister Rayamajhi directed the employees to work in favour of the country’s prosperity and development as per the national aspiration. “The possibilities in the energy sector needs to be capitalized for the prosperity of the country,” he said. He also shared his plans of increasing the production and consumption of energy in the days to come. The irrigation sector will also be addressed through proper planning. On a different note, Minister Rayamajhi said that the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) was in the interest of the country, hence should be implemented rather than debating on it. Energy Secretary Madhusudan Adhikari welcomed Minister Rayamajhi to his office, while apprising him of the state of affairs of the Ministry.
