गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Ambassador Regmi assumes office Politics Ambassador Regmi assumes office KathmanduPati March 02, 2021 LONDON – Newly-appointed Nepali ambassador to the United Kingdom, Lok Darshan Regmi assumed office on Monday. Regmi replaces the outgoing ambassador Durga Bahadur Subedi who has recently returned to Nepal on completion of his four-year term. Regmi is the 21st ambassador of Nepal to the UK. He served as the Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal in 2017 after serving as the Secretary in various Ministries. Regmi, who arrived in London on Monday, took charge of office the same day. Officials at the Nepali Embassy in London including the military attaché and other staff welcomed Regmi at Heathrow Airport, spokesperson for the embassy and Deputy Chief of Mission, Roshan Khanal said.
