According to a CPN (Maoist Center) source, the party is handing over a letter signed by chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ letter of action against them.
There are six ministers from the CPN (Maoist Center) in the KP Oli-led government.
Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’, Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta, Minister for Urban Development Prabhu Shah, Minister for Labour Gauri Shankar Chaudhary and Minister for Sports and Youth Daba Lama are lawmakers elected from CPN (Maoist Center).
While Minister for Water Supply Mani Thapa is from CPN (Maoist Center), he is not a lawmaker.
“The party is preparing to send a letter for removing five ministers as lawmakers as action against them. The letter will be sent either today or tomorrow,” a standing committee member told Kathmandu Pati.
Earlier last month, CPN (Maoist Center) had sought clarification from those ministers who have joined CPN (UML).
