गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ DPM Pokhrel directs for action against assaulters on health workers Politics DPM Pokhrel directs for action against assaulters on health workers KathmanduPati May 28, 2021 File photo KATHMANDU – Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel today phoned Banke district’s Chief District Officer Shivaram Gelal and instructed him to take maximum action against those involved in an incident of assault on the medical care staff at the Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj. Stating that the attack on the health workers who are at work to save the lives of the people during the time of pandemic is a ‘serious crime and inhuman’, DPM Pokhrel gave directive to the CDO to pay special attention to the security of the health workers, the DPM’s press advisor ganesh pandey said. An investigation committee has been formed to look into this incident and three people involved in it have been arrested.
