Issuing a joint statement with three other parties, the Biplab-led CPN accused the KP Oli-led government of dissolving the House at the behest of foreign power. In the joint statement, Biplab also announced the formation of a strategic joint front with CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) led by Mohan Baidya ‘Kiran’, Nepal Communist Party led by Rishitam Kattel and Aahuti-led Scientific Socialist Communist Party, Nepal. Earlier in March last year, the Oli-led government had branded the Biplab-led party a criminal outfit and banned its activities.
