The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court is conducting a hearing today on 13 petitions filed to challenge the government’s move to dissolve the House of Representatives and set dates for fresh election. Chief Justice Rana inducted Malla, a Supreme Court Judge, in the five-member Constitutional Bench that will decide whether the move of the government to dissolve the House is in line with the constitution.
