The Gorkha District Administration has urged people living along the riverbanks to remain alert and move to safer locations amid the threat. Gorkha Chief District Officer Dharmendra Kumar Mishra said authorities were yet to collect details of the damage caused by the flood. The extent of destruction and any possible casualties have not yet been confirmed. Authorities have called on riverside residents to take precautions and follow safety instructions as the situation develops.
