A meeting of the CPN (US)’s Secretariat held under the chair of party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal took this decision assigning Jayanti Rai for the Province No. 1 and Ram Chandra Jha for Madhes Province. Likewise, Gangalal Tuladhar would report the party’s activities from Bagmati Province while Pramesh Hamal will carry out the duty from Gandaki Province. Dr Bijaya Poudel is assigned for Lumbini Province, Prakash Jwala for Karnali Province and Dr Beduram Bhusal for Sudurpaschim Province, party’s central publicity department’s member Lekhnath Sikaru told . The meeting has directed the leaders to report to the centre within five days by studying the province-level activities of the party. Senior leader of the CPN (US) and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal was also present at the meeting that reviewed the country’s contemporary political situation. The next meeting of the secretariat is scheduled for 11:00 am on Sunday.
