The heavy rainfall occurred last night had caused damages to the temporary structures built around the Melamchi River. Torrential rainfall has caused damages to the Hume pipe-installed Fatte Bridge at Melamchi Municipality-11. Road traffic has been disrupted with the damage triggered to the bridge. Now maintenance of the bridge has been intensified following the on-site monitoring by a team comprising Melamchi Mayor Aitaman Tamang and Ward-11 chair Chandra Bahadur Tamang. The bridge links ward 7 and 11 of the municipality.
