As a result, people’s mobility and traffics have gone down while patients with asthma, pneumonia, common cold and fever have increased. The weather is dense foggy since today morning. “We are restricted inside house due to cold,” said Ram Suhaban Yadav of Nepalgunj. Senior citizens, children, daily wagers and poor people have been particularly affected due to cold. Daily wagers are finding it difficult to go for work as a result of cold, said Ramdin Godiya of Duduwa Rural Municipality in Banke district. “We are left high and dry to support for my family without money. We do not have enough food to eat and clothing to warm ourselves. We are keeping ourselves by burning firewood,” he said.
