Pun, also the former minister, had been to his home district, Rolpa, to observe Maghi Parva, the first day of the Nepali month Magh. He was airlifted to Lalitpur-based health facility in a chartered helicopter due to health issues, according to Pun’s secretariat. Pun had been to Rolpa few days ago to partake in various programmes in the wake of the parliamentary elections held last November 20. Suffering from jaundice for some time now, he was treated in a hospital in China last summer. Today, Pun was hospitalized yet again.
