Police cited the death ‘suspicious’ and detained 12 for further investigation into the case. The arrest follows the FIR registered by the relatives of Budal, according to Baitadi Police Spokesperson Lokraj Joshi. Budal was found dead on the bank of Chualani River of Dogada Kedar rural municipality-4 Saturday night. He had been there for picnic. The arrested are among those who joined him for the event. The Budal family has refrained to receive the body citing that it was a murder. Budal, who was a staff for the National Investigation Office, Bajhang and arrived home on holiday.
