The dead has been identified as Anuma Shrestha. The incident took place on Saturday afternoon, and the police was informed about it at 4 pm the same day, said Superintendent of Police Sitaram Rijal. The apartment where she was found dead belongs to doctor Sujan Dhakal, who works for Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar. Deceased Shrestha worked for Bir Hospital in Kathmandu. A suicide note was recovered from the incident site where she mentioned that she took her own life as she did not feel like living, said the police, adding that relationship issue is suspected to be the cause of the suicide.
