Shrestha said, “The government is working to maintain good-governance in the country as good-governance is the first precondition for socioeconomic transformation.” Addressing an interaction programme organized on Saturday by District Coordination Committee, Ramechhap, Shrestha added that corruption control is needed to ensure good-governance. On the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister said that country has witnessed socioeconomic transformation after the political change in the country but it could not meet the people’s expectations. Leaders of different political parties, chiefs of local levels and federal and provincial assembly members were also present in the interaction programme.
