According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, this year’s monsoon entered the country via the eastern part of Koshi Province. June 13 is a tentative date for the arrival of monsoon and this year, it made its presence three days earlier. It will be advanced gradually to other parts of the country. According to forecasts by the Division, the monsoon season this year is expected to bring 35 to 55 percent more rainfall than the average.
