KATHMANDU – The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is a general influence of westerly wind in the country and the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and fair in the rest of the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces this afternoon and fair in the rest of the country.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces tonight. Light snowfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hill hilly and mountainous areas in Gandaki Province.

In view of the possible effects on agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, roads and air transport, the Department has urged one and all to adopt precautionary safety measures.
