The virus has been confirmed in Chief Minister Poudel’s personal secretary Sumitra Kafle. High alertness has been adopted at the Chief Minister’s Office and residence after Kafle tested positive for the coronavirus. Kafle had been staying at home since 15 days after the coronavirus infection was confirmed in one of the members of her family. Kafle said that the infection was confirmed after a test was carried out on her when she suffered from conditions like the common flu and headache. According to her, she has not experienced any other symptoms other than a cold and cough, and that she has not met with any other person except members of her family. The Chief Minister’s regular works will not be affected. “The Chief Minister has been carrying out his official duties by adopting high precaution and maintaining social distance since the past. He will continue his official works,” said Anup Poudel, the Chief Minister’s Principal Private Secretary.
