Kathmandu [Nepal], August 21 – Nepal’s Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has expanded its secretariat to 15 members and appointed officials to several key party positions.
A central committee meeting held on Friday decided to add nine new members to the party secretariat, bringing its total membership to 15.
The newly appointed secretariat members are Shishir Khanal, Manish Jha, Ganesh Parajuli, Kabindra Burlakoti, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Lima Adhikari, Dipak Raj Bohora, Sameeksha Baskota and Indira Rana.
The meeting also filled several vacant party positions including spokesperson and treasurer.
Jagadish Kharel has been appointed the party’s spokesperson while Dr Manohar Pradhan has been named treasurer. Basumaya Tamang has been appointed assistant treasurer.
Purushottam Yadav has been appointed joint general secretary while Nanita Yadav and Surendra Chaudhary have been named assistant spokespersons.
The party also appointed Pramod Neupane as head of its organisation department.
The appointments are part of the RSP’s ongoing organisational restructuring as it expands its leadership structure.
With the latest decisions, the party has broadened its secretariat while assigning responsibilities across key organisational and communication positions. The new appointments are expected to strengthen coordination and party operations as the RSP continues to consolidate its organisational structure.
